Dear Lana,
What do I say to such a special person. You have brought so much joy to my life since you were born. You have brought a special closeness to the family that was not there before you. You have taught me to be more patient and to sit back and relax. You have taught Hannah how also to be more patient, and I know that you have taught your Daddy to be more open and to care about whats going on in the world. You were an unexpected joy and yet you fit so well like you have always been there. Teaching you things about the world and watching you grow each day is amazing. Now having 2 children I didn't think that the small things would effect me, but Alanna you have changed that. Everything about you down to your toes amazes me everyday. The way you smile, and how you're learning to sit up. Watching you grab for toys and the way you pull my hair. The smallest detail brings a tear to my eyes. I love you and happy half birthday Lana. I can't wait to watch you grow up even more!
