thankyou rain
She woke up next, maybe an hour later. Eyes barely open, carrying her 2 favorite stuffed animals, Ruff and Baby Dino. She swayed towards me, not giving her eyes a chance to open before she crawled into my lap. Once she was ready she was gone too, climbing up the table to eat.
About 10 minutes after fixing breakfast, is when she woke up. Sneaking onto the couch, a game to her if she can get to the couch before I hear her. I did this morning, I jumped to the couch before she did and I hugged her tight. She laid in my arms, fitting just right until her sleepiness had past. Climbing down to join her sister for breakfast. The rain had stopped, the sun waking up and the clouds floating away.

Worth the wait
Ok, I know you all have been waiting patiently for this mysterious giveaway and I finally have a moment to sit and actually give this post some thought, unlike the last couple of posts that were up in less than 5 minutes. This giveaway is about laundry soap, and everyone LOVES laundry, Right? Right?
I lived a pretty spoiled lifestyle growing up. I was not brought up in money, but my mother took good care of me, pretty much my whole life until she moved to Florida a couple of years ago. I know what you are thinking, Tasha a couple of years ago you were a mom to 2 kids, and almost married, living in your own home. Yes I know, but my mommy was still here to help me with everything...There for many of my habits, and items I use around the house I just simply use, because my mom did or still does.
Our laundry detergent is one of those items that I never gave a second thought to, and bought it because my mom uses it. I stick with it because A) it smells wonderful B) it works pretty darn good, and C) and its cheap. What is this great detergent you wonder, well its simply Purex. Mountain Fresh seems to be my scent of choice these days. So when I was given the chance to try a NEW purex product I could NOT wait. I was so excited when I received my Complete 3-in-1 Laundry sheets, I started a load of laundry right away and it wasn't even laundry day. These laundry sheets have saved my mind. You put a sheet in with your normal load and the laundry soap is right n the sheet. Then the same sheet goes right into the dryer with the same load of laundry. The complete 3-in-1 laundry sheet is detergent, fabric softener and dryer sheet ALL IN 1. Never do I have to run to the dryer again and check if I remembered to put in the dryer sheet and never do I actually have to measure out the laundry soap EVER AGAIN! Its amazing.
Purex is trying change lives with this simple product, but they are also trying to help others. Purex has teamed up with Kivo.com to support women owned businesses around the globe. You can check out www.purexchangeslives.com to view the profiles of women-owned businesses. You can support a business of your choice by entering in the bar code from any package of Purex Complete 3-in-1 laundry sheets. For every bar code entered, Purex will make a donation to a Kivo approved women owned business.
And now to the giveaway, Purex has given me a Starter pack of Purex Complete 3-in-1 laundry sheets to give to one of my lucky readers! (I know AWESOME right!). So here is what you have to do.
For 1 entry: Pick a product in your home, and tell me how you started using it. Was it because a friend or family member does, Was it because of a review on a blog, whatever reason it may be, tell me the product and why. (This must be done before other entries will count)
For another entry: Post about this giveaway and come back and add your link to the comments.
For another entry: Follow me on blogger and then leave a comment telling me you do.

B.L.T. Pizza
Lets take a minute, so I can tell you about this amazing dinner I made TWICE this week. Normally I don't ever make a meal twice in one week, but it was requested by my husband, and I did not argue.
B.L.T Pizza
The items you will need:
head of lettuce
1 tomato
1 package of bacon
mayo
shredded mozzarella cheese
store bought pizza dough
I shredded up about half of the lettuce, chopped up one tomato, cooked the whole package of bacon, then cut into bite sizes and maybe 1-2 tablespoons of mayo.
Cook the dough as directed, but don't put anything on it...cook it plain. Once it cooled spread some mayo on. Keep it thin, you don't want to bite into the pizza and get a glob of mayo in your mouth. Then cover with lettuce, tomato, bacon and cheese. (cheese is optional, I like cheese on my BLT's so I thought the mozzarella would be good)
Then its ready. Its so delicious!
The kids won't even try it, Hannah is not a fan of mayo and Alanna wants to be like Hannah, but trust me, its so good. I really like it for left overs. Once its been in the fridge and its nice and cold, its so good. I am naturally a lover of cold pizza in the mornings, so this is prefect. Chris and I have been fighting over who gets the last piece, its that good. He even called me this morning from work to tell me he is thinking about the pizza and wants some as soon as he gets home tonight. So try it, and let me know what you think, I know you won't be disappointed.

Finally an update
Okay I finally have some pics up at flickr. You can check them out by clicking on the pics up top.
Our 4th of July day:
We went to a near by town on the beach where some friends live. The whole town closes down for the town garage sales, and they have moon walks and water slides and carnival food. We walked through town and then for ice cream. We walked t the other side of town and let the kids jump and play. Then we went to the beach and let the kids swim in their clothes and play in the sand.
After the beach went back to our friends house and cleaned the kids up. We then BBQ'd some GOOD food. We ate and enjoyed. Our friend is a volunteer firefighter and they were putting on the fireworks so he and Chris let early to help set up. Later that night we packed up all the kids and went back down to the beach. Our friends had a friends house that was right on the lake. It was about 100 ft away from where they were lighting the fireworks. We could actually see them displayed on the pier. They were so close and so loud that they made me jump a few times. The girls LOVED it, Ben not so much. But there is always next year.
Alanna:
She was driving me crazy Saturday (July 4, the day after stitches). She was wild and crazy as usual. She wanted to wrestle and flip and jump, and I was so nervous. But she is tough and today she is doing very well. She is getting her stitches out today at 4:15.
(I know this isn't the greatest post, and it could have been better, but we are still trying to watch all the Harry Potter movies and Hannah is standing over my shoulder tapping her foot. I have to go be a mom now)
Giveaway:
probably tomorrow....

What did you do last night?
How was your Friday night? Mine well, I spent mine in the ER with Alanna getting 4 stitches in her HEAD. My kids plus the neighborhood kids were playing in my yard last night and one of them picked Alanna up and then lost their grip, and she fell on top of the METAL water meter outside.
She had a hole, not a cut, not a gash, a hole in her head. Our 8 minute drive to the hospital felt like an hour, and the 10 minute wait to get stitched up felt like 2 hours. At one point at only 2 minutes of waiting, I thought about screaming at all the people behind the desk to help my baby, but she was in good spirits and handled all her crying during the 8 minute ride to the hospital.
Well she did continue when they decided to stitch her up BEFORE she was numb from the shot they gave her. But she soon calmed down when I was able to cuddle her and bribe her with a year supply of ice cream when we got home.
We had to wake her through the night, but this morning she seems to be okay. She cries with threats of a bath to wash the blood out of her hair, but other than that she is my feisty, curious, lovable little girl as usual. As the GREAT mom and true blogger that I am, I asked Alanna if I could take a picture of her head, but she politely said no while tears ran down her face while waiting to be discharged, so for now, TRUST me you are happy she said NO.
Happy 4th of July

Thinking back
Tomorrow is 4th of July. It has me thinking about last year. On the 4th of July last year I was pregnant, miserable, off of work and extremely excited to meet my little boy. Chris and I and the kids spent the afternoon at his dads house, grilling and hanging out in the hot sun.
This year I have my boy, and boy oh boy what a boy he is. He climbs, he screams, he head butts, he cuddles, he kisses and he loves. He is everything I could have imagined him to be and more. The Hannah and Alanna are best friends. They play together, they sometimes sleep together and the fight together. Alanna has become very aggressive with Hannah who used to be the boss, but sometimes I see Alanna being the boss now.
We are in a place that I never thought we would be in. I am home with my babies and I live it. We aren't rich, but we aren't hurting for money. Somethings we may not be able to buy right then, and somethings we just pass up, but in the end we have everything we need and lots more. Chris and I still love each other (which we better, we have only been married 2 going on 3 years, LOL). We were hurt my the economy earlier in the year, but we got through it and we are going strong.
Thinking about the 4th of July and freedom, I think about how well my family is doing and pray for those who may not be doing so well, and hope that by the next 4th of July they can look back and reflect on the road they have traveled.

And the winners are!!!
Pretend you forgot the clothes in the dryer and if you married a good man he will come along and fold them for you!
It's not really a secret but have been trying to be consistent to do "laundry days" say Mondays and Thursdays (or Fridays)that way mentally I don't feel like I am always doing laundry!

I know Its been away since I had a "real post". It not like I have nothing to write about, I have stuff, I've just been to lazy to actually sit down and type it all out. So this is short and sweet and to the point. For pictures check out here.
~I have the giveaway. Scroll down to check it out, it ends tonight, and the winner will be announced tomorrow..hopefully, maybe Friday. No No No I promised on Thursday so tomorrow it will be.
~Last Saturday was Chris' nephew graduation party. It took us 2 hours to get there. We had a great time. I love spending time with Chris' family. He has a big family and they are loud and fun and great We always have a great time together. I just wish we all could get together more often.
Also Saturday morning Alanna got a new friend. Baby Dino, Baby Dinosaurs BIG brother arrived via the mail man. She loves him, but I did hear her telling Baby Dino she still missed Baby Dinosaur. However Baby Dino has not left her arms once in the last 5 days. Not once, he even sat in the toilet while she took a bath.
~Saturday night Hannah stayed the night with Chris' stepsister and her daughter Hannah 2 (thats what we call her). They went to Chris' stepbrother Troy's house. He has a HUGE horse farm, The girls got to feed the animals, and ride in the golf cart. The next morning my Hannah even got to ride a horse. (AND I WAS NOT THERE TO GET A PICTURE), She loved, and I'm talking LOVED it. Troy even "gave" Hannah a horse, her name is Minnie. Its the best kind of horse because she has claim to it, yet we don't have to pay anything...LOL.
~Sunday me and Angie (see above) took Hannah 1, Hannah 2, and Alanna roller skating. It was rough. Neither Hannah got a lot of sleep the night before and was crabby to say the least. Open skate was from 2-4:30 and if you know Alanna her nap is from 1-3, so it was certainly rough on her. She forgot how to skate and was throwing tantrum after tantrum for the 1st hour. Then she was having fun and it was time to leave. Meanwhile Ben and Chris were at home and Ben was NOT happy mommy was not there so Ben decided to torture daddy with no nap either, what in the end it was torture mommy because daddy got called into work as soon as me and the girls got home..FUN...
~Monday Hannah was still crabby and cried all the way to library camp because a) her best friend Julia wasn't going to be there that day, and b) because I said I MIGHT, MIGHT, MIGHT go to Florida in July or August to see my new baby nephew who isn't here yet but should be any day now. I said me, because I can only afford 1 ticket right now and the girls would stay home with Chris, but Ben would come with me. I had to hear how I was ruining her life because she wouldn't be able to see her grandma the greatest person in the world and she would have to stay with Chris, the not so greatest person in the world when grandma is involved (LOL). I also had to hear how I never did anything with her and it was always about me and she never has any fun EVER in her sad little 9 year old life. I was angry, but let her vent because, yes I enjoy ruining her life.
~Tuesday was a little better, we DID NOTHING. At least I enjoyed the day...the kids not so much, but it was chilly and I was tired so Yay for being the mom
~Today...well, today has been uneventful in everyway possible. The end.
Also Lindsey is like 5 or 6 days over due with her sweet baby boy. Head on over to her and give her some luvin, because I SOOOO know what it feels like to be prego in the Michigan summer and it SUCKS! Love ya Linds

"Princess Protection Program" Party with Popcorn and Pop.
Thats what me, Alanna, Hannah, my friend Deanna, and her daughter and Hannah's friend Julia had the other night. We popped some popcorn and poured us some pop and plopped on pillows (not really it was the couch, but I had a thing going with the p's) and watched the movie.
Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato star in this new Disney movie about Princess Rosalinda (Demi Lovato) who has to be taken away from her small kingdom and placed in the Princess Protection Program for her safety. The only one she feels safe with is Secret agent Major Mason (the man who rescued her) so he takes her back to his home to temporarily live with him and his daughter Carter (Selena Gomez). Carter is sort of a tomboy and at first clashes with the prim and proper princess who is pretending to be her cousin Rosie. Rosie has a hard time fitting in as a normal teenager, but soon Carter realizes the true meaning of being a princess and finds that its not so bad being a princess. The girls start to share a special bond and soon will risk their lives to help each other survive.
This was a cute movie and the girls really enjoyed it. It had the princess for Alanna to enjoy and just the right amount of suspense and fun for the 2 older girls. Disney’s “Princess Protection Program” has reached 28.1 million unique Total Viewers around the world, including 3.7 million Kids 6-11 and 3.5 million Tweens 9-14 for the June 26th premiere.
Also on the DVD is EXCLUSIVE DVD BONUS FEATURES such as:
~“One and the Same” Music Video performed by Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato.
~Royal & Loyal BFFs – stars Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato reveal secrets about their real-life friendship.
~A Royal Reality – meet a real-life Princess and learn the realities about gowns, castles and her responsibilities
This movie would make any girl feel like a princess, and would make a great gift for the little princess in your life
