All this week Hannah has been talking to her friend from school. Its only been 2 weeks since school let out and everynight she acts like she's going through withdrawl if I won't let her talk on the phone. We don't have a home phone, Chris and I only have our cell phones. Its like having a teenager in the house, I am restricted from my phone because Hannah is gabbing away. Its kinda cute though because I listen to her conversation and they talk about disney.com and what on nickelodeon tonight. Then she talks about Alanna and how she has to "babysit" while I cook dinner or clean up the kitchen. Its so funny. Her talking on the phone has made me realize, that I am not ready for her to grow up. I mean I was a young mom with Hannah and it feels like yesterday I spent an hour on the phone gossiping....what am I talking about it was yesterday. OMG me and Hannah are so alike! Is that a good thing or a bad thing?????

ReplyDeleteYour daughter is very cute. I remember the days when a phone was stuck to my ear too--a real phone that is, with a cord and all. Not the fancy cell phones that 8yr olds are getting these days!
