~Happy Valentine's Day~

We celebrated our Valentine's day last night as a family.  Alanna has been begging to get her ears pierced for several weeks now, so we decided to give in and take her.  We tried to warn her that it would hurt, but we didn't want to scare her to bad.  She said she knew it would hurt and then pinched us to show us how much...It wasn't much.  

She picked out the sparkly pink flowers and then sat on my lap.  At least they had 2 ladies there so it would be done at the same time.  As soon as the earrings were in the tears began.  She cried for a few minutes, but nothing a sucker and a ride on the over priced mall ride wouldn't fix.  As soon as she was done, she asked if she was pretty. 

Hannah picked out a new purse and some accessories from Claires, and we finished our night with dinner at Olga's Kitchen.  Its a family favorite and everyone enjoys an Olga.

Chris and I didn't get each other a present, we had fun just being with the kids and seeing them happy.  I guess you might wonder what happened to Ben's present.  Well he didn't get anything...



He was crabby and not really in the mood to shop so he cuddled in my arms and that was good enough for him.  He doesn't really care much either way right now, so he just got some extra kisses and was a very happy boy after that.
