So Hannah went on her first field trip to the zoo today, and she made it home okay. I now feel a little silly because I worried so much, but if I didn't worry so much the lions could have eaten her. Of course I called daycare as soon as I knew Hannah would be getting off the bus from school to make sure she had a good time. She did. She bought a stencil kit of the animals and feels like an artist because what she draws actually looks like a creature. Everyday she seems to be getting older and older. You know her birthday is in 7 days. She'll be 6. Holy shit, she'll be six. I'm not sure if I can handle that. We are talking about my 1st baby here. Wow, whats a mom to do? Since Hannah started kindergarten she has learned so much more than I expected. She can read, tell time, do math. Wow these teachers nowadays are getting so much done. I've been chit chatten with a teacher at (remember, I'm new and don't know how to link)
craftylou.blogspot.com. She gave me some pretty good advice about the field trip that made me feel better about the whole thing.
Today on the radio, the deejays were talking about how AI is rigged and that Catherine will win because she can sing in different genres, like Kelly Clarkston and the others can't. They had a segment to have people call in saying their life ended when Chris got voted off. So many people were calling in, even guys. I was laughing all the way to work....well in between the tears I had when I dropped Hannah off at school for the "field trip".
~Count down to Hannah's birthday.
7 days and counting.~Count down to Alanna being 6 months old.
4 days and counting.
Alanna has almost mastered the art of sitting up by herself. Yeah Lana!
I thought your trip was tomorrow! Ooops! But I'm glad everything went well, and that she had a good time!
