big girl

I finally got around to taking pictures of Alanna's big girl bed. Its still so hard to believe that my little baby is ready for a real big girl bed. Hannah was almost 2 1/2 when she was moved from a crib to a bed, just to show you that no 2 kids are a like. Having Alanna in the bed still makes me a little nervous, but for the last couple of days, she has done great. I am so proud of her.

When she seen the camera, she jumped into bed to deminstrate how its used.

Did you think I was kidding about the stuffed animals? She has way more that she sleeps with, but they were not ready for bed at the time of the picture

Its pretty amazing how my mindframe has changed form one child to the next. When Hannah went into her toddler bed, I had to redo her entire room. I had to buy the toddler comforter and all the accessories. Now with Alanna I am so much smarter and realize that just a nice comfy blanket is all she needs. (remember the balnket from last winter? Its the blanket I made her..She loves it)
