Happy Mother's Day

Today I got to sleep in until 10:00am. It was amazing. I have not slept in that late without interruption in.....You know what? I can't remember when. Even when the kids are gone I usually get a phone call at 9:30am telling me they are ready to come home, and since my mom moved to Florida the kids have not stayed away from home. Wow thats almost 3 years now.

When I walked out of my room, there were signs all around the house that said "Happy Mother's Day" and I was greeted by 2 of the most beautiful little girls. (Ben was napping) I was overwhelmed with drawings from all 3 kids and my very first "coupon book" I am very pleased to announce that it was filled with 1 free morning to sleep in, 1 free back rub, and 1 free bubble bath with NO interruptions. I can't wait to use that one. After my gifts I was made breakfast and it was oh so yummy. Chris makes an incredible potato omlet. Let me repeat, YUMMY!

Unfortunately after breakfast Chris had to go to work, so I packed up the kids and headed to the park. (I forgot my camera :so sad:) We spent a great afternoon of playing and walking the nature walk around a HUGE pond. I had such a wonderful day and one of the best Mother's Day to date.

Happy Mother's Day to all of you. What did you do on this special day?
