Isla Fisher is one of my favorite actresses. You should remember her from Wedding Crashers and Definitely, Maybe. She is spunky and funny without even trying. When Confessions of a Shopaholic came out, I could not wait to see it. Its a fun, and energetic movie, its fashion and comedy all in one.
Becky Bloomwood lives in New York and is head over stilettos heals for fashion. When she suddenly loses her job, Becky realizes its time for her to get her dream job of working for a fashion magazine, but when she lands a job for the sister publication instead writing about finances and budgeting, Becky has a secret that could and in the end does humiliate her. All along the way Becky is falling for her boss, running from debt collectors, and learning that its not always about fashion in the end. This movie has comedy, love, friendship and learning how to control yourself when you are in the middle of a huge department store and they announce a sale on shoes.
