Fast forward to now and I have a beautiful, spunky, happy go lucky tween. We have our moments of eye rolling, and door slamming, but if we didn't have those things going on, then I wouldn't think I was doing a good job raising her. I am still supposed to know what to do, but somehow I still don't, but thats ok. We take each day at a time, and some days are better than others. But when I look into her eyes and she smiles, I know we are on the right road. When she crawls onto my lap (or at least tries to) and tells me she loves me, everything else stops and I hold her close.
I know days like this will be gone soon. Today I am just going to stop and soak it all in. My baby girl is 10 and growing bigger everyday.

ReplyDeletewhen you remember her 10th year of life, think about all the precious moments you spent with her, and even those eye-rolling moments. But always remember and let her know how special she was... and how proud you are she's your first born daughter.
