I had a point

Ben is up before the girls every morning. This gives us a lot of one on one time. There is no TV and no distractions. I lay on the floor and he crawls all over me. He giggles. It comes from the belly. The deep belly laughs you get from babies...they are the best!

I've been trying to spend a lot of one on one time with each child lately. I can really tell a difference in the way they act through out the day if we miss our time. Ben usually gets the morning for about 2 hours. Once I lay Ben down for his morning nap, then I try to spend time with Alanna. We play with the little people, or we lay on the couch and watch a movie. She also likes to sit on my lap and watch cartoons on the computer. Something where its just us. Then afternoon comes and both the kids take naps and its me and Hannah. I really see a difference in Hannah's attitude when we have our one on one time. She is sweet and not sassy.

Tonight we are going to pick up my little cousin for a few days. He is 4 months older than Hannah. They play really well together. He and his dad live about 30-40 minutes away near the border of Michigan/Ohio. We don't see them much, so its always a treat. During the days he is here we will swim and play and have lots of fun. I love summer vacation.

  1. You are such a good mom!!!

  2. You ARE such a good momma! I'm going to come over for a swim too, if there's room in the pool for my belly!!!
