Happy Anniversary

Its our anniversary today.  We will be spending today as any other normal day of the week.  I am visiting my MIL this afternoon.  Then off to pick up fundraiser stuff for Alanna's T-Ball, and then Free skate at our local roller rink.  Tonight will be homemade pizza for dinner and later I will probably fall asleep on the couch.

But come Saturday..Saturday the kids are each staying with a family member OVER NIGHT.  Can you tell I am excited for this.  Ben has NEVER stayed the night away from me before and Alanna hasn't since she was a baby.  We have some shopping planned dinner and a movie and then who knows what.

What I do know is that this night is very much needed.  Chris and I focus on the kids so much during our everyday, that we need some ALONE time to focus on each other.

I love my husband more now than the day we married.  I have a new found respect towards him since he lost his job last winter and worked so very hard to find ways to support his family.  We are back on track and still loving every minute of it.  Our life is no where near perfect, but its a good life and we are so blessed.

Happy Anniversary honey, I love you!

She smiled.

All day today I have had this overwhelming feeling. A feeling that made me text Chris out of the blue just to tell him I love him.

Things have been good between us.

Tonight Chris and Alanna laid on the floor in front of the fire...They were under a blanket, telling secrets. I could here her giggling.

It made my heart smile.

It made me smile.

He smiled.

She smiled.

Today on this day in November...

I give thanks to my husband. Without him I don't know where I would be. He is our families provider and protector. We have issues, who doesn't, but we work hard everyday to get through them. Chris I love you

Its better than a toaster

With my name being "different" I have a hard time finding it on personalized items. That is what started my love for all things personalized. I love having that special thing with my name on it and now that I have kids, their names too. When each child was born I would try to find something with their name on it for them to have as they grow up. Hannah is easy, and so is Ben, Alanna not so much due to the spelling we gave her. When Chris asked what I wanted for my birthday I didn't give it much thought. I actually told him I wanted a new toaster for the house. He said "no" try again. So this time I gave it some thought and I wanted something to represent my children, who most times of the day I love dearly, LOL. I started searching the etsy shops and found her, Jane Dawson. She had exactly what I was looking for. I choose the tiny tag 2 initial necklace with an extra charm. Ordering from Etsy is easy and so was telling Jane Dawson exactly what I wanted. She got it right on the first try. I received my necklace a couple days later and its great. I wear it everyday and no matter where I am I get compliments on how pretty and one of a kind it is.

The picture below is of my necklace, its a little blurry. My temporary camera would not capture it to my liking, but this will have to do. I tried for a picture of the back with the birthdays but it wouldn't work, but check out Jane Dawson and see for yourself. She is awesome.

*This is not a review post, I paid for this with my own money and it was a gift from my husband for my birthday, I just wanted to share how awesome I think my necklace is and how I think everyone should have one :)*

Happy Birthday Tammy, we LOVE you!

Happy Anniversary

I never had no one
I could count on
I've been let down so many times
I was tired of hurtin'So tired of searchin''
Til you walked into my lifeIt was a feelin'
I'd never knownAnd for the first time
I didn't feel alone
You're more than a lover
There could never be another
To make me feel the way you do
Oh we just get closerI fall in love all over
Everytime I look at you
I don't know where I'd be
Without you here with me
Life with you makes perfect sense
You're my best friend
You're my best friend, oh yeah
You stand by me
And you believe in me
Like nobody ever has
When my world goes crazy
You're right there to save me
You make me see how much I have
And I still tremble
When we touch
And oh the look in your eyes
When we make love
You're more than a lover
There could never be another
To make me feel the way you do
Oh we just get closer
I fall in love all over
Everytime I look at you
And I don't know where I'd be
Without you here with me
Life with you makes perfect sense
You're my best friend
You're my best friend
You're more than a lover
There could never be another
To make me feel the way you do
Oh we just get closer
I fall in love all over
Everytime I look at you
And I don't know where I'd be
Without you here with me
Life with you makes perfect sense
You're my best friend
You're my best friend (my best friend)
You're my best friend (my best friend)

excuses and an award

I know I've been away a few days. Chris has been busy fixing the desktop. Remember a couple of months ago it broke. Well its up and running and much better. Chris is something of a computer geek, and upgraded our computer to practically brand new for very little money. I keep telling him thats why I married him, but I don't think he thinks I am for real, But I am!

A couple of days ago Twisted Cinderella awarded me a friendship award. I think this is very special, because finding a friend online is hard work. Sometimes the other person may not always get the joke or the sarcasm, and when/if they do, you know they are a keeper. So, Thank you Twisted Cinderella, I really enjoy you and your blog. Your girls get more beautiful everyday. I would like to share the love and award a few of my friends too.

1. Lindsey. She is amazing online and in real life and gosh, am I happy we met. I cannot wait for her to become a mommy and we can make fun of our kids as they grow.

2. Lori, she is one of the strongest people I know and I am determined to get a road trip in this summer to meet her in real life, so Lori get ready for us, THE CIRCUS IS COMING!

3. Michelle. She is one of the 1st people I started talking to online, and we share the same birthday. She is funny, sweet and is braver than she will ever know.

If I didn't say you, please don't get upset, I could list every one of my special friends online, but I am tired and really had to narrow it down. Plus so many of you are private, I can't link to you anyways :)

FFF, Valentine edition

I know its a couple days late, but I wanted to share our Valentine evening with all of you. Chris and I decided to stay in and have a nice family night with the kids. Well thats what we planned...

Hannah decided to stay at a friends house, because what could be more lame than being at home on V Day? Ben was asleep at 7, and Alanna was drugged with sugar. By the end of the night, we caught her laying on the floor rolling in circles, chanting, I'm not tired, I'm not tired! Let me back up a little.

Earlier in the day the girls and I made valentine chocolate chip cookies. The ones with the pink and red striped chips..Yum. During nap time for the little kids, Hannah and I made strawberries and bananas dipped in chocolate. Of course we ate some as we made some.

For dinner I made homemade chicken fried rice with sweet peas, carrots and onions. My MIL came over with some restaurant egg rolls and sweet ans sour sauce, double YUM.

For dessert, I Rachael Ray'ed it. Last week on her show she showed how to heat up store bought chocolate sauce on the stove and smash fresh raspberries in it. So we got waffle bowls, vanilla ice cream, poured the sauce over it and then topped with the remaining fresh raspberries and whip cream, now that deserves a triple YUM, because holy yumminess was it GOOD.

We ordered a free movie on demand, and laid down on the couch. Like I said before Ben was in bed at 7, Alanna was in bed at 8:30 and my darling husband was asleep on the couch at 8:00. I finished the movie and then I woke Chris up and we both sleepily walked to bed and went back to sleep. Over all, I think we had a great night. I had Hannah for half the night before she went to her friends and the rest of us were home cuddled together. I love family nights, and just being home on our own couches..Its the best.

To all you out there, I hope you had a great night as well.

Oh and for the present part, Chris thought this one up....He got a job, YAY for me, and I cooked a great dinner, YAY for him, and me....but shhhh I won't tell him that. Happy Valentine's Day!

How it began

Lori asked

Q: When did you and the hubs meet and when did you know you were in love?

A: Well Chris and I met through a good friend of ours, Jon*. Jon* and I were roommates in 2003-2004. I don't remember the exact day we met but it was in December. It was night and Jon* asked if I minded if he had a friend Chris come over. I met Chris before but never paid much attention because, a) he was seeing someone pretty seriously, and b) I never found him that attractive. I told Jon* I didn't mind and went to change into my pajamas and wash my makeup off..you know getting ready for bed routine. When Chris walked in the door, my mind did a 180, and I felt horribly embarrassed. He was so cute, and good looking, that I ran into my room and put on fresh makeup. Come to find out he was no longer in a relationship. We talked, but no fireworks that night.

The next couple of weeks, Chris hung around the house as Jon's* friend, but played with Hannah and we talked sometimes. Then in January, I told Chris that I was starting to have feelings for him. He wasn't ready for a relationship at that point. So we hung out as friends. A couple of weeks later he told me that he had feelings for me too, and we began dating, towards the end of January. Things sort of moved fast because Jon* moved out and I needed to find another roommate to help pay the bills. Instead Chris moved in and we became exclusive.

The 1st time Chris told me he loved me was in March. We had just bought a new bed and we were putting it together. While screwing in the screws, Chris looked at me and told me he loved me. It was special because there wasn't a romantic moment, just a realization. From then on we have been together almost everyday, except a few rough spots while I was pregnant with Alanna that Chris stayed at his dads house, while my hormones balanced out :). We have been together 5 years this January and married for 14 months.
When I see Chris I still get the butterflies that I got the 1st night I seen him. He is still the man for me.

* Jon owns Collector's Corner and Media Outlet, Its a great way to shop online for that picky person at Christmas time or anytime of the year. Check it out.

More questions and answers later. And remember if you have questions, I'm still taking them.

pumpkin family

Carving pumpkins has never been my thing. I prefer to leave the messy holidays to dad. Here he is "helping" the girls clean out their pumpkins. And of course by helping I mean doing it his self.
Next you see the goop being dropped in the seed bowl. This is done with all mightly carefulness because daddy knows if he gets any of that guck on my clean floors he will be in trouble.
Moving onto the next mess, we see the two very lovely girls playing in the goop. I have no comments for this one.

Seeds, we would have this many seeds to eat, but um....someone was carving pumpkins and the other responsible adult was putting the baby to bed and someone let the burning smell linger in the house and didn't think about the seeds in the oven and when the person who was putting the baby to bed came back into the kitchen and wondered what that smell was...well black seeds are NOT good. We ended up with maybe a handful...maybe.

My two beautiful daughters. Can you guess who is who? Check out flickr for the answer.
We, well daddy who is carving King decided Ben didn't need a carved pumpkin this year and we, or I could write his name on his pumpkin to claim it. So here is Benjamin. Sweet, little Ben and his friend baby ghost are hanging out too.

I hypervenalated a little with the mess, but over all it was a fun night. Something we will be able to store away and hopefully the girls will be able to share when they get older. Here is the whole family together...pumpkin style.

And where was Ben before he went to bed??? Right here encouraging his daddy that carving pumpkins are fun and not to give up. Say hello to Mr. Spider Man.

call bps (blog protected services), we have a neglected blog here

My blog has seriously been neglected lately and it sure isn't for lack of things to write about. So much is going on its just been crazy to try and find time to sit down.
Starting last Thursday the 21st. It was Chris' birthday. We celebrated by going out to one of his fav restaurants full of sea food. I am not a big fan of sea food, I have just started trying somethings and not yet completely comfortable with eating an entire plate of sea critters. I ate chicken. We left Hannah and Alanna with my MIL and took Ben, who was a really big hit with the waitresses. Chris carried Ben in his car seat/carrier and all the waitresses flocked to him and followed him to our table. Chris got a kick out of that..LOL. We enjoyed a quiet dinner and then headed back home to the girls. It was a nice night out.

Over the weekend our neighborhood had they semi annual garage sales. The kids and I walked around for a little bit, and found some great things. One of our neighbors is the mom to my brothers friend..(did you get that?) and she has a daughter a little older than Hannah and so we always find nice clothes there for school. We got a couple pair of jeans, some shirts and a winter coat for $10.00. I love deals like that.

Last night (Monday) the local library branch had Farmer Jason live and in concert. Farmer Jason is a singer who travels all over the world, and sings silly songs for the kids. I took Alanna and we spent some 1 on 1 time together rockin and rollin with Farmer Jason. It was a fun time. They had a mini mosh pit for the kids and loud music all about the animals in the forest and on the farm. At first she didn't know what to think about it and then she warmed up and joined the other kids on the stage..
My camera died before I got a good shot of Farmer Jason but you can sort of see him through all the kids in the back.

He was really friendly and funny and I am so happy that once again I ventured into the unknown and let my children experience things that before may not have. We got home sort of late from our "concert" and this is how I found my boys. Like father like son.

Over the weekend Chris helped a friend move and was rewarded with this old lay z boy. Its blue and old and comfy and doesn't match a thing and Chris seems to think it fits in perfect with our living room...So for now its staying but check back later because it may just pick up and walk to the other living room that IS decorated in mismatch..LOL.

Ben is offically 1 month old. I cannot believe that a month has already passed. Its seems like so long ago we came home from the hospital and he was a little itty bitty baby. Now he is still itty bitty but a little bigger and so cuddley. He is ever so sweet and I could nibble on his cheeks everyday. And here is proof that Ben is just like his father and loves to torture me..The other night Ben slept 8 hours and the next 7.5..Just as I was thinking "thank you god I need the sleep" he woke to eat every 4 hours last night...Thanks son, love you too, happy 1 month.

And last but not least my good friend Lindsay from Splat designs is hosting a contest for a new design..She does great work, just check out my site...So head over and read the rules and sign up..

A day to remember

Today I am filled with many mixed emotions. I am filled mostly with the sense of family. You know that feeling you tend to get around the winter holidays, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Thats how I am feeling today. Knowing that tomorrow I will be welcoming our newest addition to the family.

Chris and I went to dinner (by OURSELVES) last night for my birthday and we had a great time. We went to our favorite little Mexican restaurant and had what we always get and it was delicious. We talked alot about our fears with this new baby and the excitement we can hardly hold inside. We discussed a lot of issues that have been on my mind lately such as the upcoming arrival of a boy with 2 girls at home. Reconnecting with my husband always feels so good. We get so lost in our day to day with the house, kids and work that we sometimes forget to talk to one another, I mean seriously talk and the other person listens. Last night I went to sleep loving my husband more than the day we married. Its a feeling that I can't get enough of.

I find myself tearing up a lot this morning with the girls. The smallest things they do today will send a tingle to my heart and I cannot thank God enough for our happy, healthy little family.

Alanna was playing with her fisher price little people set...She was singing out loud quietly. She wasn't saying any words just a melody and it was so sweet. She caught me watching her and she smiled and blew me a kiss. Right there in that moment I started to cry and could not wait to get my arms around her small little body and hug her and never let go. Hannah even with her attitude lately has been super sweet. Besides laughing her butt off at me when I tried to get up from the couch this morning and could not, she has been by my side worrying that that any minute now I could go into labor. Hannah has went to every dr appt with me, because Chris is either working or sleeping, and Hannah wanted to make sure I was okay. Last week she stayed the night at a friends house and she called me like 8 times in 3 hours to see if I was okay. One time I even went outside without my phone and I had 7 missed calls from Hannah and 5 frantic messages wondering if I and her little brother were okay. She was on the verge of coming home to check on me. (sweet girl)
I cannot even begin to think that after Hannah was born I was done having kids...To honor my 2 girls with a little brother is the best gift I can give them growing up. Knowing that one day I will not be here and my kids will have each other will allow me to leave the earth and my family a happy mother.

I go into the hospital at 6Am tomorrow morning..I'm not sure if I will have time to blog in the morning or not. I asked a great friend to update my blog for me so hopefully she will be able to get the news to you in a good amount of time..If not go and yell at her and make her update, LOL.

Happy Father's Day, to all the great dads out there!

We love you

June 10, 2008

A million reasons why..

My husband called me to make sure I made it to work okay. He said he heard about an accident near the location I travel every morning to get to work and he was worried about me. How did I get so lucky to find a guy like that? Oh wait, it sort of makes up for the disaster in the living room, thats filled with baby clothes, furniture and much more since the nursery was supposed to be done being painted by Sunday and today is Tuesday and he claims for the 3rd day in a row he will get it done tonight...

April 30, 2008

Chris and I live in a manufactured home, aka mobile home, aka trailer. They have actually come along way since the beginning, and if I may so so myself, ours is quite nice. It has an open layout and its really big. We have 3 nice size bedrooms, a family room, living room, dining room, 2 bathrooms, and a laundry room. Here are some pictures from when we first moved in.
(That background is important for what I am about to tell you.)

For about the last week, week and a half there has been a faint foul odor in the house. At first maybe we thought there was a milk sippy cup forgotten somewhere, or maybe a dirty diaper escaped our views..but then we started to smell it outside, our minds started to change. The smell would shift throughout the house too. One day it would be in the second bathroom, the next in the living room, but it never completely went away. When the heat came on it became stronger, which made Chris think that something was in the furnace. The smell began to get worse and worse as the days went on and yesterday it was really bad, this motivated by husband to began his search of the source of this terrible smell. Each person who smelled it described it a different way, I said, stale blood, Chris said dead, just dead, and a friend said maybe a dead mouse. Sorry if those descriptive words are a bit graphic, but this is nothing compared to what happened next.
Last night a friend came over to visit and Chris nominated him to help in the search. They were on the roof checking the fireplace vents, and the furnace vents to make sure they were animal free. Next Chris was checking the outside of the house, and the furnace. Finally he checked under our house where all the pipes and wires are. Now I had been begging him to please check under the house for the last 3 hours during daylight, but he would not listen. Finally he checked under the house and when he returned from outside he was white and shaky. He told us we needed to come outside because something big just happened. He would not say at first. We went out back and looked under the house and there about 5 feet in, right under the laundry room was a 25-30 pound raccoon, hanging on my dryer vent next to our hot water line, dead. The smell was incredible. The stench was 100 times worse than what was being brought in the house. Right away the gag reflexes started and I could not handle it anymore. I had to go back in the house.
Cutting to the end, Chris wrapped his face in a pillow case, that he sprayed with my perfume to distract from the foul smell, and 3 grocery bags on each hand to protect from the disease ridden animal, he marched outside. he crawled under the house and pulled out the animal. It was decomposing already and the fur was falling off. Maggots started to fall out of the body. Chris could barely hang on to the tail as he put the animal in a garbage bag. The stench in the house is still there, hopefully soon it will linger away...But for now this is my story that I had to share.

I have pictures, is that to graphic? If you want to see them, leave me a comment or email me, and I will send them personally to you to view.

Happy Anniversary

On this date 1 year ago, I was shaking and reminding myself to breathe. I was looking into his eyes and thinking to myself how did I got so lucky? Here he is and he loves me and my daughter and we now share another beautiful little girl together. I was holding his hands feeling him tremble and it dawned on me that no matter what the future held for us, we would be in it together and I no longer had to worry or fear what the future may bring. He was there, in this moment sharing the fears, and excitement along with me. Then we said I do and finalized our love in front of all our friends and family and made it offical, I became his wife and he became my husband and we joined our family in the eyes of God.
This is the song Chris and I danced to on our wedding night. We both feel that this describes us perfectly. Neither of us claims to be perfect, but we work off each other and when one is having a bad day the other is there.

You Save me, Kenny Chesney
Every now and then I get a little lost
The strings all get tangled
The wires all get crossed
Every now and then I’m right upon the edge
Danglin’ my toes out over the ledge
I just thank God you’re here
(Chorus)-['Cause] when I’m a bullet shot out of a gun
['Cause] when I’m a firecracker comin’ undone
When I’m a fugitive ready to run
All wild-eyed and crazy
No matter where my reckless soul takes me
Baby you save me
It’s hard lovin’ a man
That’s got a gypsy soul
I don’t know how you do it
I’m not sure how you know
The perfect thing to say
To save me from myself
You’re the angel that believes in me
Like nobody else
And I thank God you do
(Chorus)
Well I know I don’t tell you nearly enough
I couldn’t live one day without your love
When I’m a ship tossed around on the waves
Up on a high wire that’s ready to break
When I’ve had just about all I can take
Baby, you,Baby you save me

Last night I was laying on the couch watching TV after the girls were in bed. Baby no name was squirming inside his mommy ever so lightly, and then all of a sudden he started to get very aggressive and my stomach was doing waves. It was the first time this pregnancy that the movement was visible form the outside. It was so sweet. I told him he could play but he had to be nice to mommy, he then kicked me in the bladder and I leaked a little. (Is that to much information? Oh well, from now on, nothing is sacred with this pregnancy.)

We finally had our new bunk beds delivered yesterday. After a month of waiting, they are here. Chris promises to put the beds together this weekend. I am not looking forward to that. Chris getting near anything with directions that has to be put together is equal to a 2 year old having a temper tantrum of the century. He could go up against the best of them and still be champion. I think me and the girls will go away Saturday afternoon, maybe a long grocery shopping trip is needed, maybe another trip to Florida will give him time to work it out.

Hannah has too dissect a sheeps eye today. She is so mad at me for making her go to school. She has been complaining all week about this project. She keeps gagging herself and rolling around n the floor telling me how mean I am for making her do this. I completely agree with her. I am mean, but my mom made me do it in 2nd grade, and so will she. yes, I actually had to do it too, same school district, different elementary school, go figure. Dissecting a poor animals eye in 2nd grade is way to much for me to handle. I felt so bad for her this morning. She was trying every excuse she could think of..I have nothing to wear, my belly hurts, blah, blah, blah. This one excuse she stuttered over and it ended up being one she already used, it was very funny. I had to practically push her out the door today. I sure hope she has a good day...Maybe we'll have lamb for dinner to celebrate her success, what do you think?

Since we've returned from Florida Alanna has been sidetracked on her potty training. I'm gonna talk about it over here today.

memories for a lifetime

Well we made it home. We got home last night about 5:30pm and was exhausted. The girls were so good in the car, that Chris and I have decided to make this Florida trip a once a year deal. The girls, Chris and I had a blast. There really are no words to describe the memories we made along the way and the gleam in both girls eyes in the adventures we took them on. We took more than 200 pictures and about 2 hours worth of video. The pictures are up here, and please forgive me for not putting them up here, but it took over 3 hours to get them upload to Flickr, and I am so tired. I am so happy we decided to drive, thanks to everyone who encouraged us to do so. You were all right, Once in a lifetime memories that we made as a family
We headed out on Wednesday at 5:45am and made it to North Carolina to visit with my Uncle, Aunt and Grandma. We stayed the night and started our trip again at 5:15 Thursday morning. We made it to my moms house around 6:00. Friday we headed for the beach in New Smyrna and never stopped from there. My mom and stepdad took us to a restaurant full of seafood, more for Chris than me, but I did try a crab stuffed mushroom for the first time. (When it comes to seafood, I am a little chicken to try it all, but slowly I am coming around). The restaurant was right on the water and when I say right on the water, it was running under our table as we ate on the deck of the restaurant. The view was amazing..Don;t ya know this was the only time I left my camera in the car...Shame on me. Saturday, we headed to the pool and swam a bit and then to Downtown disney we went. Seeing all the sites and Lego city, that was pretty cool too. If you don;t know Downtown Disney is more for adults, but they do have some fun kids stuff, like Goofys Candy store...HOLY COW, Keep me away from this store, please. The cookies were double the size of my hands, the chocolate covered strawberry was gourmet and the chocolate covered pretzels with m&m, peanuts and sprinkles would just melt in your mouth. Oh and lets not forget about the GIANT Carmel, chocolate butter finger dipped apple I had to have. That didn't last to long despite the size, good thing I'm pregnant or I would have been in big trouble.
Sunday we headed bright and early to Disney World. This was awesome. Hannah and Alanna both enjoyed it so much. We didn't get to do everything, but the important stuff like meeting Mickey and Minnie were first off our lists. Chris and Hannah rode some rides and even Alanna got in on some of the action. We seen attractions and ate, ate, ate. Popcorn and ice cream taste so much better at Disney :). We seen the parade, and skits, and many more characters along the way. We tired to see everything, and I thing we did an okay job of it. We didn't go in every building or on every ride, but what we did do was all the best in our books.
Monday we sort of relaxed, we went to the pool while Chris slept...He was prepping for our long ride home. We left at 9pm after many tears and hugs from my mom and stepdad. Well the tears came from me, Hannah and my mom. We had such a great time, and didn't want to return to reality. I missed my mom so much, before we made the trip down to Florida and the time they showed us was amazing and wonderful. We just didn't want to leave. Hannah and I sniffled about 10 more miles down the road and then reality did set in and we prepared for the car ride. We drove all night and and all day and finally made it home. I did shed a little tear when we came home but thats only because it was SO DAMN COLD, and the weather we left was dream like...80s all week long. The Michigan weather will put you in your place every time.

Like I said out trip was amazing and there really is no other words to describe it. Thanks to my mom and stepdad for showing us a GREAT time and cannot wait to do it again next year with the baby. Hopefully we can hang on to some of this fun until then. I am so greatful Chris and I were able to do this for our family and even though Alanna is only 2, I know these memories will stay with her and Hannah for the rest of their lives. Oh and I think baby boy had a great time to. Every once in a while he would kick and tell me he liked what we were doing...
PS be sure to chek out the pictures..they tell the trip so well.

Another baby in the house

Chris and I are both sick. We have colds, maybe some sinus issues, but for the most part your standard, I don't feel well, I want to crawl in bed and cover my head cold. Coincedentaly we both got it yeaterday..which is very weird, because neither one of the girls are sick. I have noticed several differences between Chris and I when we are sick. He is working days this week, and got home before me last night. I come in and he is latying on the couch covered from head to toe with a blanket. I get right to work, cleaning up the house..Putting sidhes in the dish washer, running the dishwasher, wiping the counters, and cleaning up a few of the toys. Chris lays on the couch watching me complaining he doesn't feel well. I sit down next to him and said oh, yeah, lets compare symptoms.
Chris: I'm stuffy
Me: Me too
C: My body hurts
M: Welcome to my world
C: I think I have a fever

Must have done something right

My stepdad called me this morning around 6:15 asking if I was awake..Oh how soon they forget that just because the weather is warm in Florida does not mean its warm up north. It snowed last night, alot. To much for me to drive the 40 miles I drive to work everyday. I tried to get back to sleep, but I was not the only one who heard the phone. Next thing I know both girls are up and really to play...How at 6:30 in the morning I have no idea.
The reason for the call so early, I can imagine is that he was excited. He gets like that sometimes..Like Alanna going down the toy isle at the store or Hannah when she is allowed to so anything she isn't normally allowed to do..My stepdad moved to Florida with my mom in August...well he was down there a little bit sooner, He goes to a college called Full Sail. Its a techie type of school and way to hard for me to explain....maybe along the line of ITT, but I'm not completely sure about that. He likes to use us, his kids for some of his projects...A couple of months ago he took pictures of my step sisters and "cleaned" them up on the computer and they looked really good. In his old school he had to make a small film or something like that and Hannah was in it..So when he was given his last project, I guess he thought it was due time to use me...so I wouldn't feel left out of course. Where am I? Oh right, he was very excited this morning and had me go to his blog, yes he has a blog too. Then he had me view this video...Don't you just LOVE IT. I do. It was well worth the wait. So tell me what do you think?

Call us Crazy

Today I feel a little bit better..except for this nagging feeling of constant hunger. I get so hungry so quick..its 4:17 and I just ate lunch at 12:00, and my stomach is growling...out loud...I think I may gain back my 23 pounds I just lost. I'm still trying to eat as healthy as I can, I'm still following weight watchers for the water and the fruits and veggies, but I don't deny myself if I want that big mac.

Tonight is Chris' work Christmas party, 2 hours away. Call us crazy, but we are going. Chris is supposed to get a Christmas bonus and we DO NOT want to miss out on that. Not with all the Christmas shopping I have to do tomorrow to make up for not shopping in case of the strike. Oh by the way we came to a tenative agreement. We vote on it tomorrow...YAY, no strike 10 days before Christmas. Thanks for all the prayers, I'm sure you all helped out a lot.
